Once More, With Feeling

Obviously I have been a bit inconsistent lately with my posting. I am going to fix that. I have said before how I want to treat this like a job, and treat it like one I must. Which does not mean I cannot have fun with it. This does not mean I will post everyday, but I also will not be posting only once a day if the mood strikes me.  I’ve been acting like I have to pace myself, which is not fair to me, and certainly not fair to my readers.I also realize I have not been doing a very good job of lightening things up a bit, which is why, while I still intend to post my many, very serious, essays, I will also be throwing much more light-hearted stuff your way. I have one on the way today, as well as a couple of serious ones. I hope you enjoy it.
I do have two, teeny, tiny favors, to ask. The first I have pointed it out before, and I will again in the future. To your right is a nice little “donate” button. If  you would like to see me expand this blog to include more investigative sort of work, or perhaps interviews, it would help to have the resources to do so. Or, heck, even if you just love my work and want to show it with a contribution, that would be great.
Even more helpful, however, would be your sharing the posts you love with friends and the internet in general. By all means, don’t share what you don’t like, but if you really love a post, don’t be shy about sharing it on Facebook, G+ or using those buttons below to Digg, StumbleUpon, or Reddit it. I am looking to reach more readers.
There are big changes in the future. The content will be the same, but the format will hopefully be more user-friendly (the above mentioned contributions will expedite that.) You folks deserve the best I can give and I want to give it to you. Here’s to an exciting year ahead of us still. I look forward to this blog growing, and to learning from and sharing with you all.

Christine
