On the Air Today

Kind of getting late to this folks, but today I will be on TMI with Aldous Tyler on Madison Student Radio. We will be discussing the state of political dialogue in America as well as how the left can do a better job of messaging to the conservatives we are trying to help. TMI with Aldous Tyler starts at 1:00 PM EST. He will first be talking with Al Suarez about what has been going on in Venezuela since the passing of Hugo Chavez, so if you are interested in what is going on with the world’s fourth largest oil exporter (and you should be) tune in for the whole show.

Today my Pop turns 60. I suppose it is something of a milestone birthday. Sure the AARP starts sending you stuff at 55 but in our collective consciousness we don’t really view someone as “senior” until they’ve reached the big six-oh. Somehow it seems like less of a big deal than I would imagine. Maybe it’s his understated attitude about it. Yes he grumbles about not being able to get around the way he used to, or handle the cold as well, but for the most part, it’s just another year, and hell, I grumble about that stuff. Obviously I have been a bit inconsistent lately with my posting. I am going to fix that. I have said before how I want to treat this like a job, and treat it like one I must. Which does not mean I cannot have fun with it. This does not mean I will post everyday, but I also will not be posting only once a day if the mood strikes me.  I’ve been acting like I have to pace myself, which is not fair to me, and certainly not fair to my readers.
